Primary Objective:
Lighthearted & authentic storytelling
Renae J. Ruddock is a Toronto-based television Writer, Creator, and Development professional (who sometimes moonlights as an illustrator).
With over 10 years experience in TV & Film, Renae has worked in development for kids and unscripted content, as well as in animation production on series for Cartoon Network EMEA, Teletoon (RIP🥀), and Nickelodeon.
Renae has also served as Development Manager at Yowza Animation, where she worked with notable international partners and organizations, including The Nelson Mandela Foundation, to develop properties for TV and digital platforms.
A storyteller at heart, Renae aims to write unique perspectives through a lighthearted, humorous lens. She strives to create worlds that people want to explore, with characters they love! Or hate to love... or love to hate!
She hopes to fuel the nostalgia-trips of many generations to come.
